History
The institution’s roots go back to 1891 when a School of Science & Art was established in High Wycombe. Over the decades it evolved through technical institutes and further education colleges, becoming Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College in 1999 and then granted full university status in 2007 under the name Buckinghamshire New University.
