Frequently asked questions

Searchable answers maintained by Admin. If a category is empty, it has not been published yet.

General

Yes. The public consultation form creates a real counselling request. A counsellor reviews your destination, study level and subject before proposing next steps. Paid products, if any, are listed separately and are not charged from this form.
No. Counselling, applications and visa guidance are professional services. University admissions and immigration decisions are made by those authorities. We will not claim a guaranteed offer or visa.
Office details, phone and email are published on the Contact page from Admin settings. If a field is blank, it has not been configured yet — use the contact form instead of guessing.
Browse destinations, universities and courses, then book a consultation or create a student account and start an application. Partners use the partner sign-up flow and wait for Admin approval.

Students

Use Student Sign Up, then verify you can sign in at Student Login. After login you can update your profile, upload documents and track applications.
Open the student portal. Application status, documents, offers, visa stage and messages update from the same file staff use. Empty sections mean nothing has been recorded yet — not a fake number.
Yes. Signed-in students can shortlist universities and compare programmes. Guest users can use the compare tray for courses during the session.
Use Forgot password on the student login page. Admin and staff logins are separate internal URLs and are not listed in the public footer.

Universities

No. The directory includes published institutions from verified public sources plus Admin-managed partner records. Partner application routing is separate from a public profile. Missing tuition or ranking means it has not been verified — we do not invent it.
Use country, region, city, type, study level, subject, tuition range and scholarship filters on the Universities page. Country pages also link to universities in that destination.
Because that field was not supplied by a verified source and has not been entered by Admin. Contact the institution or book a consultation rather than treating a blank as zero.

Applications

Typical stages are course and university selection, application file, documents, internal review, submission to the institution, offer, visa and enrolment. Your portal shows the stage recorded on your file.
Students can start from Apply or from a course page. Approved partners can create applications for their own students. Staff process files according to Admin-assigned permissions.
Depends on the course and destination. Common items are passport, transcripts, English test and a statement of purpose. Your document checklist in the student portal lists required types once your file exists.
Yes. Each application is a separate file so offers and visas stay distinct.

Scholarships

No. Scholarship pages show Admin-published records with eligibility, amount and deadline only where those fields were verified. Always confirm with the provider. Unverified fields are labelled as requiring verification.
Follow the method on the scholarship page (often through the university application). EDU ADVANCE scholarship guidance is a counselling service — we do not invent awards.
Only if the awarding body pays the university or you. We do not disburse third-party scholarship funds unless a specific contract says so.

Visa

No. We guide you through document checklists and timelines. Visas are decided by the destination government. Use official sources for current rules.
Usually after an offer (and CAS/COE or equivalent where the destination requires it). Your counsellor will flag this on the file; the student Visa page shows the recorded stage.
Staff may review and guide. You remain responsible for truthful answers. We do not complete government forms in a way that hides information.

Language Courses

Admin publishes courses such as IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, Duolingo and destination languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic and others). If a language has no course yet, the catalogue shows an empty state instead of a fake class.
Open the course page and use the enrolment form. That creates a real request for Admin. Fees appear only when configured on that course.
No. Language and test-preparation courses are listed under Language Courses. Degree programmes stay under Courses.

Partners/B2B

Use Partner Sign Up. Admin reviews the agency. Until approved, the partner portal shows a pending state and cannot see other agencies’ students.
Yes, once approved. Partners add students, upload documents and create applications from their portal. Data is limited to that partner’s students.
On the partner Commissions and Reports pages, using recorded commission rows — not estimated marketing figures.

Payments

Only fees that appear on an EDU ADVANCE invoice or a configured product (for example SOP/I-20 support or a priced language course). University tuition and visa fees are paid to those organisations.
Read the Refund Policy, then email finance quoting your invoice or application number. Third-party university and government charges cannot be refunded by EDU ADVANCE.
Yes, on the Payments page. If none exist, you will see an empty state rather than sample figures.

Student Dashboard

Dashboard, profile, applications, documents, offers, visa, payments, messages, notifications, shortlist, compare and security/2FA. Each item opens a working page. Empty lists mean no records yet.
Open Security / 2FA in the student portal and enrol a standard TOTP app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy or similar). Admin may require 2FA for some roles.
Messages go to EDU ADVANCE staff accounts you select. They are stored on the platform; they are not a public comment wall.
